Question 1. How long has the "Post-COVID-19 Recovery" program been operating at the sanatorium?

Answer: The first patients under this program received treatment at the sanatorium in December 2020. Specialists from "Berezoviy Gay" sanatorium spent more than 6 months developing treatment and rehabilitation methods for patients after coronavirus infection. During this time, our medical team adopted advanced experience from leading European and CIS clinics on post-COVID recovery and developed a unique program for patients who have had this illness.

Question 2. Effectiveness of the treatment program.

Answer: The program's effectiveness is very high. To implement this new and in-demand program, we purchased unique medical equipment from well-known foreign manufacturers (Switzerland and Germany). The treatment itself is based on the experience and methodologies of international rehabilitation centers. The entire recovery process takes place under constant supervision by the sanatorium doctors who have undergone specialized training.

Question 3. What does this program ultimately give to the patient?

Answer:

Answer:

Question 5. What is the duration and cost of the program, and what does the cost include?

Answer: The duration of the "Post-COVID Recovery" program is from 14 to 18 days.

The cost of the "Post-COVID Recovery" program does not differ from standard profile treatment at the sanatorium and starts at 750 UAH per person per day (depending on room type).

The program includes:

  • Accommodation in a room of the selected category;
  • A complex of medical procedures and examinations according to the program (no additional fees for medical procedures);
  • Four meals a day with dietary nutrition.

Question 6. If a person has recovered from coronavirus, when can they use the recovery program?

Answer: Recovery courses for patients who have had coronavirus without lung involvement are prescribed 14 days after recovery.

Patients who have had pneumonia due to coronavirus infection can start sanatorium treatment no earlier than 2 months after recovery.

Question 7. What documents are required to undergo this program?

Answer: Upon arrival at the sanatorium, you need to bring:

  • A health resort card (issued by your family doctor);
  • A discharge summary with analysis results;
  • A negative PCR test after recovery or an IgG antibody test no older than 6 months;
  • CT or X-ray results.

Question 8. Are there any contraindications for this program?

Answer: The recovery program may be contraindicated for patients with chronic diseases. More detailed information can be obtained by calling the medical specialists.

Question 9. Can any additional procedures be added to the recovery program?

Answer: For an additional fee, the following procedures may be prescribed:

  • Biochemical blood test – 320 UAH;
  • Honey massage – 5–10 sessions at 185 UAH each;
  • VLOK / UFOK (intravenous blood irradiation) – 5–8 sessions at 110 UAH each;
  • Acupuncture (acupressure therapy) – 5–8 sessions at 120 UAH each;
  • Carboxytherapy – 8–10 sessions at 100 UAH each;
  • Craniosacral therapy (a form of manual therapy) – 2–3 sessions at 330 UAH each.

Question 10. Who else, besides those who have had coronavirus, can benefit from this program?

Answer: This program is suitable for people suffering from the following conditions:
