Since the 1960s, when the laser — a single-color polarized light with minimal beam divergence — was discovered, all research into its potential has only confirmed the positive therapeutic effects of laser irradiation. Intravenous irradiation allows direct exposure of light on the blood without any loss of radiation power, which provides a stronger effect compared to non-invasive techniques. During the interaction of laser radiation with the biological substrate of blood, photophysical, photochemical, and photobiological reactions occur step by step, enhancing the body’s self-regulation system and gently correcting disruptions in homeostasis — the patient feels a clear improvement in their overall physiological condition. Depending on the severity and progression of the disease, the full course of blood irradiation treatment can last up to 20 days, with one session every 1–2 days.
