Painless facial cleansing with ultrasonic waves
Under the influence of stress and external unfavorable factors, the natural cell renewal cycle of facial skin slows down, as does the shedding of dead skin cells. Skin congestion leads to a variety of cosmetic and aesthetic issues. Therefore, in addition to regular home skincare, periodic professional facial cleansing is necessary. Due to its complete painlessness, affordability, absence of visible traces, and no need for a recovery period, **ultrasonic facial cleansing** has become the most popular procedure among mechanical and chemical methods.
Cleansing Modes for Different Skin Conditions
In the cosmetic department of our health resort, ultrasonic cleansing is performed using the **MIT-11 device**, which offers **3 programs** tailored to different skin types:
- P1 — for dry, flaky, or sensitive skin;
- P2 — for oily skin;
- P3 — for problem-prone skin.
This procedure is recommended for the following conditions:
- Dilated pores;
- Dull complexion;
- Acne (excluding acute flare-ups);
- Dryness and tightness;
- Reduced epidermal tone;
- Presence of comedones.
Contraindications
Depending on individual needs, the course may consist of 1–5 daily sessions. This procedure has minimal restrictions and can be combined with regular facial care products — unless the patient has any of the following contraindications:
- Pregnancy;
- Oncological diseases;
- Epilepsy;
- Bronchial asthma;
- Severe hypertension;
- Infectious diseases;
- Recovery period after chemical peeling;
- Exema, herpes, or purulent skin lesions;
- Facial nerve paralysis;
- Persistent dilation of small facial blood vessels;
- Trigeminal or infraorbital neuralgia.
Procedure Steps
Preparation for ultrasonic cleansing may include applying desincrustation lotions or gels to the skin. These products soften dead skin cells, open up clogged pores, and loosen sebum buildup.
During the session, a high-frequency acoustic wave is applied to the skin via a spatula-like applicator. The vibrations at this frequency break the bonds between dead skin cells, resulting in gentle yet effective exfoliation, and deep cleaning of pores from sweat and excess sebum — similar to a mild peel.
Just one session lasting 10–15 minutes is enough to boost skin immunity, activate metabolism, and enhance tissue renewal. Ultrasound waves normalize oxidation-reduction processes in the skin and stimulate the production of elastin and collagen.
Ultrasonic cleansing is part of a comprehensive treatment plan for problematic skin and deep comedone removal. With prolonged use, it helps smooth scars painlessly and without side effects, offering delicate micro-exfoliation. It increases the vitality of new skin cells, improving elasticity, firmness, secretory activity, and oxygen saturation. As a result, you'll notice visibly reduced pores, a brightening effect, smoother skin texture, and an even, healthy skin tone. All these benefits are clearly visible in before-and-after photos of the procedure.
