COVID - 19 recovery program

Specialists of the sanatorium "Birch Grove" spent more than 6 months conducting research in the field of developing treatment and rehabilitation of patients after suffering a coronavirus infection. During this time, the doctors of our sanatorium adopted the best experience of leading clinics in Europe and the CIS in recovery after the disease of COVID-19 and developed a unique program for patients who suffered from this disease. To implement this new and popular program, unique medical equipment of well-known foreign manufacturers (Switzerland and Germany) was purchased. The treatment itself is based on the experience and methods of international rehabilitation centers. The entire recovery process takes place under the constant supervision of doctors of the sanatorium who have specialized training.

EXAMINATIONS AND TREATMENT PROCEDURES INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM:

• Regime 1 (gentle), 2 (tonic), 3 (training) - the individual regimen of the patient based on his condition, the course of the disease and the tests performed;
• Diet No. 15;
• Climate therapy (the birch-pine forest massif, where the sanatorium is located, is a powerful healing factor, has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, strengthens immunity);
• Measurement of blood pressure - as needed;
• Pulse oximetry - as needed;
• Medications for emergency care.

Curator: the attending physician is a therapist.

In the presence of concomitant diseases  you can additionally receive consultations from doctors of other specialties: orthopedic traumatologist, neurologist, reflexologist and receive treatment according to the price list.

Procedures are distributed in proportion to the number of days of stay.

The final method of treatment, the list and number of necessary procedures is determined by the attending physician.

NOTE:

• When entering the sanatorium, it is necessary to have a sanatorium-resort card (issued by a family doctor), an extract from medical documentation after treatment with the dynamics of test results, a negative PCR test after recovery or a test for the presence of IgG antibodies no later than 6 months from the date of passing the test, the results of CT examinations, radiography.
• A recovery course for patients who have suffered a corona virus infection without lung damage is prescribed 14 days after recovery.
• Patients who have suffered an infection with lung damage - pneumonia are accepted for sanatorium-resort treatment no earlier than 2 months after recovery.
