The main areas of rehabilitation treatment of diabetes in the sanatorium "Birch Grove" (according to the National Standards of sanatorium-resort treatment in 2008):

1. Strengthening of the excretory function of the pancreas (insulin-stimulating effect).

Indications for treatment:

Patients with type 2 diabetes with mild and moderate forms of diabetes in a state of compensation, persons with impaired glucose tolerance are subject to sanatorium-resort treatment.

Contraindications to treatment:

Pronounced decompensation of diabetes with ketoacidosis, labile course, pronounced macro stages – and microangiopathy, insufficiency of peripheral, central or coronary blood circulation.

What this program will give you:

NOTE:

• When entering the sanatorium, it is necessary to have a sanatorium-resort card (issued by a family doctor), an extract from medical documentation after treatment with the dynamics of test results, a negative PCR test after recovery or a test for the presence of IgG antibodies no later than 6 months from the date of passing the test, the results of CT examinations, radiography.
• A recovery course for patients who have suffered a corona virus infection without lung damage is prescribed 14 days after recovery.
• Patients who have suffered an infection with lung damage - pneumonia are accepted for sanatorium-resort treatment no earlier than 2 months after recovery.
