Magnetic laser stimulation is an effective method of therapy
Magnet-laser therapy (MLT), which combines magnetic field pulses with red or blue light optical radiation, was proposed by scientists in 1977 as an effective method for therapeutic and preventive impact on the human body. The similarity in the biological effects of magnetic fields and low-intensity laser radiation, along with their combined influence on metabolic processes, leads to a synergistic effect — enhancing both therapeutic benefits and providing strong stimulation exactly where it is needed.
In the cosmetic department of our health resort, you can undergo magnet-laser stimulation for the face and décolletage area using the MИT-11 device (the procedure is shown in the photo).
What is Magnet-Laser Stimulation Aimed At?
This therapy activates aging or weakened processes (due to illness or natural physiological changes) in the human body, producing a noticeable cosmetic effect. MLT addresses the root causes behind external symptoms and skin disorders, offering the following benefits:
- Immunomodulatory;
- Pain-relieving;
- Anti-inflammatory;
- Antihypoxic (improves oxygen supply);
- Restoration of tissue nutrition;
- Relief of spasms;
- Improved oxygen metabolism.
The therapy affects microcirculation and peripheral blood flow, blood viscosity and clotting, capillary and vessel permeability, as well as the synthesis of nutrients and hormonal balance. On facial skin, this results in:
- Reduction of swelling and inflammation;
- Improved skin tone;
- Increased absorption of creams and skincare products;
- Enhanced effectiveness of cosmetic treatments;
- Prevention of dental issues.
Contraindications for ML Stimulation
The goal of any stimulation based on electric current is to awaken the body’s own biological activity. However, there are certain conditions where such activation is not recommended, as it may increase stress on affected organs or systems:
- Oncological diseases;
- Pregnancy;
- Kidney or liver failure;
- Organs in decompensation phase;
- Epilepsy or convulsions;
- Systemic blood disorders;
- Feverish conditions;
- Cardiovascular pathologies;
- Severe endocrine diseases.
How is ML Stimulation Performed?
Facial MLT is performed with the patient in a comfortable position (lying or sitting). The treatment is applied contact-wise, according to a stationary method, covering one or several zones. Each zone is treated for about 3–5 minutes, with total session duration not exceeding 20 minutes. In our health resort, this procedure is offered at affordable prices.
Stimulation is directed to selected areas, organ projections on the skin, reflex zones, or acupuncture points. For treating wounds, ulcers, burns, or dermatological conditions, a non-contact technique (at a distance of 1 cm from the skin to the emitter) may be used. In both cases, the procedure is completely painless.
A full course consists of 8–15 sessions conducted every other day or daily. The course can be repeated after 2–4 weeks. For preventive purposes, MLT is recommended twice a year.
