Cardiovisor
The cardiovascular system is one of the main systems in the human body. Cardiovascular diseases remain a pressing medical and social issue worldwide, including in Ukraine. Over the past 20–25 years, various studies have been conducted in European countries, the USA, and Canada to detect heart diseases at early stages — even before clinical symptoms appear, during metabolic disturbances. One of these developments is the Cardiovisor.
Cardiovisor — developed by Ukrainian scientists with the aim of improving diagnosis and treatment processes for cardiological patients. The "Cardiovisor" computer system is a valuable screening method for early detection — and therefore timely prevention and accurate treatment — of cardiovascular diseases. The device operates by analyzing the electromagnetic field generated by the heart muscle activity. The software displays this data on screen, allowing the patient not only to read diagnostic results but also to see a 3D electronic "portrait" of their own heart, with problematic areas highlighted in different colors.
Indications for examination using the Cardiovisor system:
- Vascular dystonia (VSD)
- Heart rhythm disorders
- Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD)
- Hypertensive disease, symptomatic hypertension
- Post-infarction cardiosclerosis
- Cardiomyopathy, myocardial dystrophy, heart defects
- Endocrine disorders
- Depressive states (stress, psycho-emotional overload)
- Sports overexertion, assessment of recovery status
- Children over 6 years old with heart pathology
The informative value of the Cardiovisor allows you to:
- Perform outpatient examinations during population screening for early detection of pathologies at preclinical stages (screening diagnostics)
- Evaluate the presence of pathological changes in the myocardium upon the patient's first visit to the doctor
- Create a personalized plan for prevention and treatment of detected pathologies
- Monitor the dynamics of myocardial condition during treatment
Advantages of Cardiovisor diagnostics:
- The average time for examining one patient does not exceed 2–3 minutes, including electrode placement.
- The device has high sensitivity to ischemic changes in the myocardium. It enables fast and reliable detection of very early heart changes that are not visible in standard ECG signs.
- A unique feature of the Cardiovisor is its high specificity in distinguishing between normal and pathological conditions.
- After undergoing an examination on the Cardiovisor, you receive an extended cardiogram with a 3D image of your heart.
