Diet № 1 (main)

Indications for use:

  • peptic ulcer and chronic gastritis with normal and increased gastric secretion in the fading phase of exacerbation and remission (within 3-5 months),
  • chronic gastritis with secretory insufficiency in acute,
  • acute gastritis in the recovery period,
  • after operations on the stomach in the recovery phase (after Diets number 1a and 16).

Intended purpose: same as number 16 in the diet, but with less favour of stomach.

General characteristics: a diet with sufficient energy value and the normal ratio of major nutrients. Excluded are chemical and thermal stimuli, food, strong stimulants of gastric secretion. Mechanical favour of stomach is less strict than in the diet, number 16.

Energy value of 12 142-12 979 kJ (2900 - 3100 kcal).
Chemical composition, g:

  • proteins - 100 (60% of animals),
  • fat - 100 (20-30% of plant),
  • carbohydrates - 400 - 450,
  • sodium chloride - 12,
  • free liquid 1,5 liter.

Cooking: the food steamed, boiled and served in a shabby state.

Diet № 5

Indications for use:

  • acute hepatitis in the recovery phase,
  • chronic hepatitis,
  • cirrhosis of the liver,
  • inflammation of the biliary tract (cholecystitis, cholangitis, hepatitis, etc.) outside the aggravation of the disease,
  • accompanied by dysfunction of the liver and biliary tract.

In all cases, with no concomitant diseases of the stomach and intestines.

Intended purpose: contribute to the normalization of the disturbed functions of the liver and biliary tract, regulation of cholesterol and fat metabolism, accumulation of glycogen in the liver, stimulate bile secretion and intestinal motility.

General characteristics: Full of energy value of a diet with optimal protein, fats and carbohydrates, with the exception of foods rich in purines, nitrogenous extractive substances and cholesterol, oxalic acid, essential oils, fat oxidation products (acrolein, aldehydes) formed during frying. A diet enriched with lipotropic substances (choline, methionine, lecithin), and contains a significant amount of fiber and fluid.

Chemical composition, g:

  • protein - 90-100 (60% of animals),
  • fat - 80-100 (30% of the plant),
  • carbohydrates - 350-400 (70-90 g sugar),
  • sodium chloride - 10;
  • free liquid – 1,8 – 2,5 liter.

Cooking: Not allowed to roasting, grinding is not needed for food.

Diet № 7 (main)


  • chronic glomerulonephritis (in remission during the process),
  • acute glomerulonephritis (convalescent),
  • nephropathy of pregnancy,
  • other diseases in which diet is shown salt-poor.

Intended purpose: Moderate favour renal function, reduced blood pressure, edema and improved elimination of nitrogenous waste products and incompletely oxidized products of metabolism from the body.

General characteristics: Limited to minor protein, sodium chloride, free liquid substances, irritating the kidneys, stimulating the cardiovascular and central nervous system, meat, dairy and mushroom broth, foods rich in essential oils and oxalic acid.

Energy value of 11 514-13 188 kJ (2750 - 3150 kcal).
Chemical composition, g:

  • protein - 80 (50% of animals),
  • fat - 90 (20-25% of plant),
  • carbohydrates - 400 - 500 (100 sugar),
  • sodium chloride - 5-7 (of which 3-5 to give a hand patient, and the remainder is contained in the products),
  • free fluid - 0.8-1 liter.

Cooking: Food is cooked and used in powdered form, may be grilling meat and fish after a preliminary boiling.

Diet № 10 (main)


  • heart disease in the mild stage of compensation, or severe heart failure (I-stage PA),
  • hypertension stage I-II,
  • chronic glomerulonephritis and pyelonephritis without compromising nitrogen excretion of renal function.

Intended purpose: Facilitating the activities of the cardiovascular system, while moderate favour digestive organs and kidneys increased diuresis and unloading of intermediate exchange.

General characteristics: A significant limitation of sodium chloride and fluid, fiber, and foods rich in cholesterol contribute to flatulence in the intestines, substances stimulating the cardiovascular and nervous system, irritating the liver and kidneys (and other extractive) enriching the diet with salts of potassium, calcium, lipotropic substances (lecithin, methionine), to ensure adequate intake of vitamins.

Energy value of 9 839-10 886 kJ (2350 - 2600 kcal).
Chemical composition, g:

  • protein - 80-90 (60% of animals),
  • fat - 70 (30% of the plant),
  • carbohydrates - 350-400,
  • Sodium chloride - 5-7 (of which 3-5 to give a patient, separate dishes to salt to taste the remaining amount is contained in natural products),
  • free fluid-1, 2 l.

Cooking with moderate mechanical treatment favour, all dishes are prepared without salt.

Diet № 15 (main)

Indications: Various diseases in which there are no changes in the digestive system and do not need to appoint a special diet.
Intended purpose. Providing a balanced diet full of diverse in the hospital.
General characteristics: Physiologically, a full and varied diet, designed for a person not performing physical labor. The vitamin content is increased. Excluded are some difficult to assimilate and acute food.

Energy value of 11 095-12 979 kJ (2650 - 3100 kcal).
Chemical composition, g:

  • 80-100 proteins (55-60% of animals),
  • fat - 80-100 (20-25% of plant),
  • carbohydrates - 400-450 (70-100 g of sugar),
  • sodium chloride, - 12-15;
  • free fluid – 1,5 liters.

Cooking. Varied without any restrictions.
